Benefits of Volunteering

Volunteering in Hyde Park has been so rewarding. I know this has been said before by people in other places, but there are no better people than the people in Hyde Park. These are people who get up every workday and do what they have to in order to get to work and take care of their families.

Volunteering, particularly for the people of Hyde Park, has allowed me to learn so much about myself. By the grace of God, I am able to apply the skills he's given me in such a way that I see immediate returns on my time and commitment investment.

Finally, I know that I am part of building back better, a neighborhood and community that with great historical value for the city of St. Louis. Thank You,
